Hear how NAME got on with her Microblading treatment at Harley Hair
At Harley Hair, we do what we do because we know just how much it can change the lives of others - but we certainly wouldn't expect you to just take our word for it...
That's why we've got back in touch with some of our past patients to hear just how they're getting on post-treatment. Here is what the delightful NAME HERE had to say about having Microblading at Harley Hair...
Very good. Eyebrow pencil-free! [laughs]
I'd tried all different kinds of 'longlasting' pomades and pencils, but nothing is really as quite as longlasting as actual eyebrows and they all rub off eventually. Things like swimming, wearing hats and even being exposed to the rain were always quite a issue for me. I couldn't ever really relax properly.
I'd really lost count on the number of my husband's shirts that I'd left some kind of imprint on. I'd become quite used to going at his collars with some baking soda and a toothbrush to try and remove the remnants of my brow pencil smudges!
I drastically over-plucked my eyebrows in the 90's when the thin, 'Spice Girl' brows were all the rage. Unfortunately for me, they never really recovered from that and I was left with practically no visible eyebrow left. As I've gotten older, and my hair has begun to go grey, it's only gotten worse.
You can dye the hair on your head, but eyebrow tinting only really works when you have some hair left to work with.
Gosh, thrilled. That's probably a bit of an understatement, to be honest.
The technique is all about looking like natural strands of hair so its actually a much better finish than I ever could have gotten with makeup.
I am a bit frightened of needles so I was quite anxious about having it done at all - but I really shouldn't have been as it wasn't actually painful in the slightest.
Admittedly, certain parts were a bit sore at times, but I'm very happy to exchange little soreness for a life free of covering my brows when it rains!
Everyone I met was great and I actually came to quite enjoy the sessions.
Because my eyebrows were such a source of stress for me, a friend suggested I looked at getting them tattooed.
I'd never considered that avenue, so I thought it sounded like a brilliant solution.
She had been getting her eyebrows threaded and tinted with Harley Hair for a while so I ended up just coming along with her when she has an appointment one day and got to talking to some of the girls at the clinic.
Once they told me that they could get me in for a free consult, I was really quite excited.
I wish someone had told me that it didn't hurt!
I've not got any tattoos myself, but people are always saying how painful they are.
I got quite anxious on the lead up to the first day of my treatment - but it all turned out absolutely fine. I was a wuss for nothing [laughs].
Having my eyebrows fuller like this has really evened out the proportions of my face, too.
It seems to have opened up my eyes a bit - I had no idea that something like that, something so straightforward, could have such an impact to every part of my face.
I would.
In fact, I'm sure I will. There's no way I could revert back now.
The friend that recommended I try it in the first place has actually seen my results now wants to give it a go, too.
