Find out how Claire got on with Innopen at The Harley Street Skin Clinic
We're fortunate to have worked with many faces in our time - including a few you might recognise. We wanted to check in with some of our favourites to hear all about their Harley Street Skin experiences. That way, you're able to approach your own personal journey with a little bit more confidence. How does that sound?
Here's what the lovely Claire King, Emmerdale, Casualty and Bad Girls star, had to say about her rejuvenating Innopen treatment at Harley Street Skin...
I think being aware of maintaining the way you look is something of an occupational hazard for actors. When I started going to castings after about 45 and realising there were a lot of old friends with new faces so to speak, it definitely got me thinking. [laughs]
It is a real concern for actors though, the ageing thing. Roles are so competitive - I'm just thankful there are more dramas being made now - I have noticed that. My Sky+ is being used much more than usual!
It was generalised ageing, really. I've got bags and lines and all the rest of it, but I've always said that I'd never go the full knife route, because I'm an actress - I've gotta move my face, you know? [laughs] I can't go for the windtunnel look.
That's why I was so thrilled when I heard about Innopen, with Calcecim Stem Solution Serum - it just sounded ideal.
Oh, so happy. It was so straightforward - it felt more like a spa treatment than anything else. My skin just feels younger - I love it.
It was where I had my Thread Lift a few years ago.
That whole journey was so well handled the first time around that I really, in truth, never considered going anywhere else when I felt it was time to try something new.
I just felt that the whole team were really great. From explaining all about the procedure as we went to keeping my nerves in check and following up to make sure I was okay afterwards - you know? I remember that I was so nervous beforehand, but they managed to make what could have been a really stressful experience really pleasant.
It was great. I had some anaesthetic cream put on my face before we started, and the rest, as I say, just felt like quite a thorough facial or exfoliation treatment. My face was a bit pink afterwards, but that didn't hang around for long. I just popped some makeup on.
I wasn't really expecting such drastic results from non-invasive treatment to be honest. Of course I had immense faith in what Lesley and Dr Khan had to say, but I am pleasantly surprised by quite how much it's done. Everyone has been so quick to tell me how well I'm looking, too.
I'm yet to see how it looks on camera, though, but I can't wait. If my skin feels this good in real life, I can only imagine. Maybe I'll look 25 again on screen! [laughs]
I would say 'never underestimate the power of the non-invasive treatment'.
You don't always need the surgical scalpel to make a difference these days. Even if you think 'right, that's it, I need a full blown facelift. I am way too far along to see results from something that seems so mild'. So many women feel like that, and that's exactly what has lead to this fantastic kind of advancement. I'm so grateful for that, because it's meant I can still be me but just enhanced.
I couldn't have asked for much more than that now, could I?
Well, every time I've left the clinic so far I've felt fantastic.
You can't exactly argue with an 100% success rate. [laughs]
I would definitely come back again.
